Hello there. I am Simplar Duoson! The Kingdom of Kaliron map for WarCraft III which was unofficially continued by me is not dead. I keep doing that and I will do my best to make the resource which will always be comfortable to visit. The resource which will have many information about your favorite map. And, of course, GetTKoK page! I thank everybody who reads this for patience and understanding of the situation happening around there in my aims to make access to TKoK and its materials as easy, advertisementless and fully as even possible. Perfect Cell (Info_DUOS ) (13:20): I know that in previous commit Ortakna had bugged shadow orbs speed. I can explain why so after a bit of researching. The old Ortakna code used this function:
Speed_ShadowOrbs was equal to 2.25, timer period was same with mine so my hypothesis that it will work fine was placed. But unfortunately, SetUnitFacing/GetUnitFacing caused a bug which was covered by curi with a workaround - he just tuned this constant back then until people were satisfied. The constant was 2.25. SetUnitFacing appeared to not face units instantly, but over some time.
Perfect Cell (Info_DUOS ) (13:23): That resulted orbs to move tons slower! Ignoring the facing, I have made their motion on native timer. After some simple calculation it's easy to tell that orbs with a speed 2.25 per 0.03 second will do a full 360 degrees circle rotation in 4.8 seconds. Of course it is fast. To fix the value, I have gone to my ort videos and seen how fast orb does full 360 degrees rotation. From 1:55 to 2:33, means 38 seconds. What a stupid crazy bug. (360/38)*0.03 = 9.474*0.03 = 0.28422 so instead of 2.25 they must adjust angle by 0.28422 per 0.03 seconds. Fixed ;p
